This sculpture is created from hollow glass and stands on its own. I make these from fairly thick tubing so they have some weight to them and arent as delicate! First, I carefully blew out the body. I make these from fairly thick tubing so they have some weight to them and aren't as delicate! 。First, I carefully blew out the body shape, then meticulously added arms, buttons, facial features, and a cozy blue scarf. At this point, the glass is clear and totally transparent, and it takes a ride in the kiln to cool down and remove stress! Next, I masked off the black eyes, mouth, and buttons with a teeny tiny paintbrush. I then sandblasted the piece to give it a frosty look, and sent it through the kiln again to make sure it lasts a long time.。This sculpture is approximately 2.5" wide at the widest point and 3.1" tall.。All of my glass is annealed in a digital kiln to ensure strength and durability. All glass is wrapped and safely packed prior to shipping. 。My photos are taken under professional lighting- I strive for the most accurate representation of colors, but there may be slight variances depending on monitor settings.
